Our origins date back to 1920 when Nakagawa family began brewing soy sauce in Aichi Prefecture in central Japan.
In 2002, we renamed ourselves Nakagawa Brewing Co., Ltd., while continuing our legacy of crafting premium tamari soy sauce.
As a dedicated tamari soy sauce brewery, we take pride in producing an inimitable product
that, because of its artisan nature, accounts for only 1.5% of Japan’s total soy sauce production.
Despite the changing times, our mission remains the same:
to preserve Japan’s tamari soy sauce culture for future generations.
